I found a pre-owned example of this watch for sale recently, and I had to try it on. Photos don’t do it justice, it’s an extremely attractive design in the metal.

Talking of aeronautical inspiration, here’s a watch with a different take on the theme. The turbine blades are linked to the automatic winding mechanism so they turn as you move. Stunning.
